Associate — Tech Assurance, Audit & Assurance

Deloitte is hiring an early-career Associate in Tech Assurance in Riyadh, within Audit & Assurance. The work is testing the IT controls behind financial reporting: general IT controls and application controls, IT infrastructure and ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, and third-party assurance reporting (SOC 1 / ISAE 3402 and SOC 2). Associates join client walkthroughs, document test results to Deloitte’s methodology, help put remediation plans together for control gaps, and support proposals and client deliverables. The role also asks for applied AI in an audit context — for example prompt engineering and structured problem-solving — with professional scepticism and validation of AI-generated outputs before they go into audit documentation.

Key requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
– 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT risk, or IT assurance (professional services / consulting experience is a plus, not a requirement)
– Pursuing or planning to pursue CISA, CPA, CIA, or CISSP
– Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus
– Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analytics or audit software is a plus
– Willing to travel within the Middle East region as engagements require
