Waitress

Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai, part of the Accor hospitality group, is looking for a Waitress to join its food and beverage team. The role is about giving guests a warm, professional dining experience: greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking and placing orders, serving food and beverages, and keeping the outlet running smoothly to Accor’s service standards.

What you will do:
– Set up the assigned outlet on time, including mise-en-place and table setting
– Greet guests on arrival, seat them with the hostess, present menus, make recommendations, take orders and handle payments, ensuring items are charged correctly in the Micros system
– Serve and clear food and beverages professionally; keep side stations clean and organised
– Know all menus, promotions and outlet information to answer guest questions
– Handle guest complaints as instructed or refer them to the supervisor; report cleanliness, maintenance and equipment issues
– Follow Accor policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety, and attend departmental briefings and training

Requirements:
– A positive “can do” attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
– Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
